This European Standard specifies a quick method for determining, by evaporation, the water content of bituminous road emulsions, with or without polymer added. This document (EN 16849:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 336 "Bituminous binders", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Joint Committee NA 062-03-32 GA "Bitumen; Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen für die Bindemittel" at DIN Standards Committees Materials Testing (NMP) and Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
