This document specifies a test method for the determination of the content of the preservative agents (biocidal products) 2-phenylphenol (OPP) and triclosan in textile materials and articles composed of textile products, by liquid chromatography. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 "Textiles and textile products", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-12 AA "Textilchemische Prüfverfahren und Fasertrennung" ("Testing methods for separation and chemistry of textile fibres") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
