Overview
This document (EN 17921:2024) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 326 "Natural gas vehicles - Fuelling and operation", the secretariat of which is held by TSE (Turkey). The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 032-03-07 AA "Gasversorgung für erdgasbetriebene Fahrzeuge" ("Gas supply for vehicles operating on natural gas") at DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (NAGas). This document provides the design specifications for an unloading receptacle for LNG tank trucks for unloading at LNG fueling stations or LNG rail tenders. This document contains (at least) requirements for: - technical description for the design of the LNG tanker/rail tender coupling; - technical layout description of the unloading receptacle; - location of the unloading point on the tanker/rail tender.
