Overview
This European Standard contains the minimum requirements and other criteria for assessing road traffic noise reducing devices with regard to safety and environmental protection, generally under typical roadside conditions. Requirements for more onerous conditions shall be specified by the designer. Appropriate test methods are provided, where necessary, but for some aspects the designer may require information on the material characteristics. These aspects are separately dealt with in the Annexes A to F.
