Overview
The scope of Function Analysis has evolved since its initial application; today it provides effective support for any type of project (or product) that involves any process of defining and developing measures. This document is applicable in principle to all areas of activity and all types of projects or products, whether tangible or intangible, such as services, processes, organizations, strategies, tactics, aims, and objectives. It is applicable in the context of relationships between external partners (between a customer and suppliers) or internally (for example, between two units of the same organization). The responsible national standardization committee is Steering Committee NA 147 BR "Steering Committee of DIN Standards Committee Quality Management, Statistics and Certification (NQSZ) " at DIN Standards Committee Quality Management, Statistics and Certification (NQSZ).
