Overview
This document provides the basis for the design and construction of buildings, bridges, and civil engineering structures under temperature conditions between -40 °C and +100 °C. This document does not contain specifications for design in the event of fire (see EN 1992-1-2), for fasteners in concrete, or for the design of structures against earthquakes (EN 1998-1-1). The document has been completely revised and the contents of Parts 2 and 3 have been incorporated. Likewise, the contents of I, J, JA, L, and Q have been newly included. This standard has been prepared by Subcommittee 2 of CEN/TC 250 (secretariat: BSI), which is mirrored nationally by DIN Standards Committee NA 005-07-01 AA, as well as by NA 005-07-20 AA for content specific to bridges.
