This National Annex contains the special parameters for the application of DIN EN 1996-1-1 in Germany as well as references to complementary national provisions for the design of masonry structures which are non-contradictory to DIN EN 1996-1-1. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-06-01 AA "Mauerwerksbau (SpA zu CEN/TC 125, CEN/TC 250/SC 6 und ISO/TC 179)" ("Masonry (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 125, CEN/TC 250/SC 6 and ISO/TC 179)") of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN.
