This standard specifies design rules with respect to fracture induced by fatigue. European Amendment EN 1999-1-3:2007/A1:2011 has been incorporated into this version. The documents EN 1999-1-3:2007 and EN 1999-1-3/A1:2011 have been prepared by Committee CEN/TC 250/SC 9 "Eurocode 9 - Design of aluminium structures" with German collaboration. At DIN, the German Institute of Standardization e. V., the responsible Working Committee is NA 005-08-07 AA "Aluminiumkonstruktionen (SpA zu CEN/TC 250/SC 9 + CEN/TC 135/WG 11)" ("Aluminium structures (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 250/SC 9 + CEN/TC 135/WG 11)") at the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau).
