This European Standard specifies the dimensions and physical constants of U-section aluminium alloy folded profiles used in aerospace construction. The EN 2053 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
