Overview
This European Standard specifies the characteristics of plain bushes in aluminium alloy with self-lubricating liner and the design recommendation of shafts and housings. The bushes are intended for operation within the temperature range of -55 °C to 121 °C and assembly with an interference fit into fixed and moving aerospace parts. The EN 2285 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-02 AA "Fluidische Systeme und Komponenten" ("Fluidic systems and components") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
