The standard EN 2589 has been prepared by the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is NA 131-02-05 AA "Metallische Werkstoffe" ("Metallic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
