DIN EN 2997-007:2016-11

The standards of the EN 2997 series describe electrical connectors, circular, coupled by threaded ring, fire-resistant or non fire-resistant, operating temperatures -65 °C to 175 °C continuous or 200 °C continuous, 260 °C peak. The new edition of Part 007 specifies the characteristics of hermetic receptacle with round flange attached by welding or brazing. It applies to connector classes Y and YE. With regard to free connectors and protective caps, see EN 2997-008 and EN 2997-009. The standard differs from the previous edition DIN EN 2997-007:2008-05 as follows: The contact type "X" has been included in the identification block in Clause 5 and the previous contact type "M" has been changed. The EN 2997 series of standards has been prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Aerospace Standards Committee. AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
