This European Standard specifies the properties of self-locking serrated shank nuts in FE-PA2601, for aerospace applications. The standard specifies the properties of self-locking serrated shank nuts made of heat resisting steel FE-PA92HT in the tensile strength class 1 100 MPa, maximum operating temperature 650 °C. These nuts are predominantly designed for connections in aerospace that are subject to tensile stress when the nut cannot be operated with a wrench.
