The EN 3155 standard series describes electrical contacts in elements of connection which are used in aircraft. Part 026 specifies the requirements and tests applicable to male electrical contacts 026, type A, crimp, class R, used in elements of connection according to EN 3155-002. It shall be used together with EN 3155-001. The associated female contacts are defined in EN 3155-027. With respect to the previous edition DIN EN 3155-026:2006-10, Figure 1 has been updated and values for contact size 22 have been changed in Table 1. These standards of the EN 3155 standard series have been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrics, Avionics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Connector") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
