Overview

This standard specifies the characteristics of the thread ends for 8°30' pipe couplings, nominal pressure up to 28 000 kPa, for aerospace applications. The standard EN 3274:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-02 AA "Fluidische Systeme und Komponenten" ("Fluidic systems and components") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN. With respect to DIN EN 3274:2002-08, the following changes have been made: a) reference to EN 2491 has been incorporated, which means, lubrication of thread and sealing face according to EN 2491 has been supplemented in 3.1.
