Overview

This Technical Standard specifies the technical, qualification and quality assurance requirements for bolts in material FE-PM1708 (FV535) of tensile strength class 1 000 MPa at room temperature, maximum test temperature of material 550 °C. Primarily for aerospace applications it is applicable to such bolts when referenced on the product standard or drawing. The EN 3302 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
