DIN EN 3373-007:2012-06

The standard series EN 3373 describes terminal lugs and in-line splices for crimping on electric conductors. Part 007 defines the characteristics of nickel plated aluminium terminal lugs for crimped connection on nickel plated aluminium conductors. The terminal is delivered with a factory installed O'ring and the barrel internal part is coated with a special grease which should not be removed before crimping on cable. It is blocked with a plastic cap. This European Standard shall be used in conjunction with EN 3373-001. The standards of the EN 3373 standard series have been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrics, Avionics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-08 AA "Installationskomponenten" ("Installation components") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
