This document defines the performances and contact arrangements for threaded ring coupling circular connectors, fire resistant or non-fire resistant, intended for use in a temperature range from -65 °C to 175 °C or 200 °C continuous. The standard EN 3645-002 has been prepared by AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN), with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
