Overview

This standard specifies the characteristics of self-locking hexagonal nuts with ball seat in heat resisting steel, MoS2 lubricated. Classification: 900 MPa/315 °C. They are intended to be used with washers to EN 3764 or suitable parts, see Annex A. The standard EN 3763:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") of Aerospace Standards Committee.
