The new edition of DIN EN 4073 specifies the characteristics of screws, pan head, six lobe recess, coarse tolerance shank, medium length thread, in alloy steel, cadmium plated, Classification: 1 100 MPa /235 °C. The document contains the information required for production and application, such as dimensions and designation, material, surface treatment, marking and technical delivery conditions. The present standard EN 4073 has been prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente (Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 20/SC 4)" ("Aerospace fasteners (mirror committee to ISO/TC 20/SC 4)") at DIN Standard Committee Aerospace (NL).
