DIN EN 4165-013:2017-02

The EN 4165 series of standards describes rectangular electrical connectors in modular design for an operating temperature of 175 °C, continuous, for aerospace applications. The new edition of Part 013 defines cable clamp for 2 and 4 module connectors, series 2 and series 3 used in the family of rectangular electrical connectors. The standard differs from the previous edition DIN EN 4165-013:2007-11 as follows: a) In Clause 5 class of enclosure A has been omitted, but class C has been included with a corresponding change in Table 1 and the new Figures 3 and 4; b) for the intermateability of class C, Figure 6 in 5.6 has been added. The standards of the EN 4165 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
