DIN EN 419251-3 contains groups of security functional requirements which can be used by authors of security requirements (security targets) for authentication devices in accordance with the Protection Profiles in accordance with Part 1 and Part 2. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 224 "Personal identification and related personal devices with secure element, systems, operations and privacy in a multi sectorial environment", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German working committee is NA 043-01-17 AA "Karten und persönliche Identifikation" ("Cards and personal identification") at the Information Technology and selected IT Applications Standards Committee (NIA) at DIN.
