This European Standard specifies the scheme for the evaluation of conformity of building lime to the corresponding product standard EN 459-1. It contains rules for inspection, assessment and qualification of factory production control, and rules for the frequency of testing. This European Standard specifies technical rules for factory production control by the manufacturer, including autocontrol testing of samples. It also provides rules for actions to be followed in the event of non-conformity, the procedure for the declaration and requirements for dispatching centres.
