DIN EN 4644-024:2016-01

The EN 4644 series of standards describes modular rectangular electrical and optical connectors with rectangular inserts, operating temperature 175 °C (or 125 °C) continuous. The connectors described in this standard are suitable for use on board of commercial and military aircraft for panel and rack application under rough environmental conditions. Part 024 specifies the size 2 receptacle for disconnect applications used in the family of modular rectangular electrical and optical connector with rectangular inserts. The plugs corresponding to this receptacle are defined in EN 4644-021 or EN 4644-022 or EN 4644-023. The standards of the EN 4644 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
