This European Standard specifies the requirements relating to steel FE-PM1506 (X1CrNiMoAlTi12-10-2), vacuum induction melted and consumable electrode remelted, solution treated and precipitation treated forgings, a or D ≤ 200 mm, Rm ≥ 1 400 MPa, for aerospace applications. The standard has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Metallic Materials, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-01-01 AA "Stähle" ("Steels") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
