DIN EN 4674-001:2017-06

The DIN EN 4674 series of standards describes self-wrapping shielding (EMI) protective sleeve for installation on electrical cables in the aerospace industry. The standard DIN EN 4674-001 specifies the general characteristics, qualification and acceptance requirements for self-wrapping shielding (EMI) protective sleeve designed for EMI shielding of cable and cable bundles for aerospace applications. The standard differs from the previous edition DIN EN 4674-001:2015-04 as follows: in Table 5 the minimum delivery length of a protective sleeve has been set at 5 m. The standards of the EN 4674 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-08 AA "Installationskomponenten" ("Installation components") at the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
