Overview
This European Standard specifies the constituent materials, the composition and the mixing method to produce reference concrete and reference mortar for testing the efficacy and the compatibility of admixtures in accordance with the series EN 934. With respect to DIN EN 480-1:2011-09, the following modifications have been made: a) the cement range has been modified; b) the standard has been editorially revised according to CEN Internal Regulations. The responsible national committee is NA 005-07-23 AA "Betonzusatzmittel (SpA zu CEN/TC 104/SC 3)" ("Admixtures for concrete (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 104/SC 3)") at the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN.
