Overview
This European Standard specifies the characteristics of swivel flanges, 3 holes, for flange couplings in nickel alloy for inch series aerospace applications. Nominal pressure: up to 21 000 kPa; depends on the associated seal, tube material, tube diameter and tube wall thickness in the assembly (see EN 4814). Assembly in accordance with TR 4815. The EN 4801 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-02 AA "Fluidische Systeme und Komponenten" ("Fluidic systems and components") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
