Overview
This document specifies the general characteristics, the conditions for qualification, acceptance and quality assurance, as well as the test programs and groups for threaded ring coupling circular connectors with expanded beam termini, intended for use in a temperature range from -55 °C to 125 °C continuous. The standard EN 4869-001 has been prepared by the ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-10 AA "LWL und LWL-Komponenten" ("Fibre optic cables and components") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
