Overview
This European Standard specifies requirements and tests for cable trunking systems, for the accommodation and, where necessary, for the separation of isolated conductors, cables or wires and possible other electric devices in electrical installations and/or installations of communication systems. The maximum voltage of these installation is 1 000 V AC voltage and/or 1 500 V DC voltage. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 543.2 "Führungssysteme für Kabel und Leitungen" ("Guiding systems for cables and wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
