Overview
This Part 5-3 of the EN 50090 series describes the requirements for the media dependent physical and data link layer of signal transmission via radio for electrical system technology for home and buildings (HBES). This standard has the status of a product family standard and it is not used as a stand-alone standard. The media-independent application layer is listed in EN 50090-4-1, while details on the transport layer, network layer and general, media-independent specifications for the link layer are listed in EN 50090-4-2. The responsible committee is DKE/K 716 "Elektrische Systemtechnik für Heim und Gebäude (ESHG)" ("Home and building electronic systems (HBES)") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 50090-5-3:2007-06 .
