This part of EN 50123 specifies requirements for outdoor d.c. switch-disconnectors, disconnectors and earthing switches for use in outdoor fixed installations of traction systems. This Amendment of the European Standard concerns 5.3.3 "Currents". The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 351.2 "Ortsfeste Anlagen" ("Fixed installations") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
