Overview
This supplement complements DIN EN 50131-2-2 (VDE 0830-2-2-2). It considers the question as to whether it would be permitted for testing purposes (by testing laboratories and manufacturers) to use the neodymium magnet instead of the AlNiCo magnet in order to obtain reproducible results. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 713.1 "Gefahrenmelde- und Überwachungsanlagen" ("Alarm and surveillance systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
