Overview

This standard consolidates Amendment 1 to EN 50174-3. Amendment 1 contains a number of clarifications and changes compared to DIN EN 50174-3 (VDE 0800-174-3):2014-05, which serve to adapt it to the state of the art and to align its content with DIN EN 50174-2 (VDE 0800-174-2):2015-02. The changes affect all clauses of the standard and the two annexes; in particular, a new Subclause 4.10 has been added with specifications for planning the repair of damaged cable systems. The responsible committee is DKE/GUK 715.3 "Informationstechnische Verkabelung von Gebäudekomplexen" ("Customer premises cabling") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
