Overview

This standard applies for insulated bushings for rated voltages above 1 kV to 52 kV, rated currents from 250 A to 2 500 A and frequencies from 15 Hz to 60 Hz for any equipment other than liquid filled transformers. This standard specifies the essential dimensions to ensure exchangeability of bushings and appropriate fastening and exchangeability of separable connectors of corresponding rated values. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 411.1 "Starkstromkabel" ("Power cables") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
