Overview
This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55016-1-1:2010 and is identical to the International Standard IEC/CISPR 16-1-1:2010. It specifies requirements for measuring apparatus for the measurement of radio-frequency conducted and radiated disturbances (disturbance voltages and currents and disturbance field strengths) in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 GHz. Quasipeak, peak and rms average measuring receivers and, furthermore, spectrum analyzers, scanner, audio-frequency voltmeters and disturbance analyzers for discontinuous disturbances are considered here. Changes and additions have been made in relation to the previous standard in order to add specifications for spectrum analyzers without preselection. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 767.4 "Geräte und Verfahren zum Messen von elektromagnetischen Aussendungen" ("Equipment and methods for measurement of electromagnetic transmissions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
