Overview

The standard specifies requirements for the measurement procedure for radio-frequency radiated disturbances in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 GHz and contains specifications for open-area test site or semi-anechoic chamber measurements in the frequency range 9 kHz to 30 MHz. The standard differs from DIN EN 55016-2-3 (VDE 0877-16-2-3):2020-11 as follows: a) specifications for the test specimen volume when measuring radiated emissions as function of the method of measurement and the measurement distance - see subclause 7.11. The standard is classified as a basic EMC standard according to IEC Guide 107.

This document replaces DIN EN 55016-2-3:2020-11; VDE 0877-16-2-3:2020-11 .
