This Amendment of EN 55020:2007 or DIN EN 55020 (VDE 0872-20):2007-09 supplements in Table 15 in clause 4.7 immunity specifications for devices with a tuner which is suitable for reception of digital cable TV signals. For testing, an amplitude-modulated electromagnetic field in the frequency range from 790 MHz to 862 MHz is radiated into the receiver. The background of this supplementation is the introduction of a new mobile communication service called "LTE" against the emissions to which the receivers shall be made immune. The modified standard specifies immunity requirements for sound and television broadcast receivers and associated equipment.
