DIN EN 58:2012-05

This document (EN 58:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 336 "Bituminous binders", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Joint Working Committee NA 062-03-32 GA "Bitumen; Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen für die Bindemittel" ("Bitumen; test methods and specifications of binders") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) and the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN. This European Standard specifies methods of sampling bituminous binders to determine the average quality of the material under examination and/or to determine deviations from average quality. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 58:2004-10: a) the standard has been editorially revised; b) a new subclause 8.1 "Necessary drawing off before sampling" has been included; c) in the German version, the term "Einwegdose" ("surface sampling can") has been replaced by "Probenahmegefäß für Oberflächenproben".
