Overview
This European Standard specifies the requirements for labelling wood preservative products according to their efficacy and suitability for use, for each of the five use classes defined in EN 335. The standard differs from DIN EN 599-2:1995-08 in that the clauses on classification, information to be provided by the manufacturer and labeling have been combined in one clause, Labeling. An example of how to report efficacy information on a label is given in Annex A. The system of codes for use in classifying and labelling the efficacy of wood preservative products has been abandoned.
