Overview
The standard sheets in Part 1 of this series of standards specify requirements for lamp caps that are important for the interchangeability of a lamp with a specific cap in the corresponding lamp holder. This document contains dimensional specifications for lamp caps that ensure that the holder of a cap system can be mechanically and electrically securely connected to the lamp holders of the same system in accordance with Part 2 of the 60061 series of standards. This document supplements DIN EN 60061-1:2023-05 and the 63rd amendment to IEC 60061-1, which concerns the following system and data sheet: - GJ6.6 in 7004-188-1. This document is only applicable to cap/holder systems described in IEC 60061. The standard differs from DIN EN 60061-1:2023-05 as follows: a) this standard contains the 63rd amendment to IEC 60061-1, which concerns the following data sheets and systems: Data sheet 7004-188-1 for the GJ6.6 cap system has been supplemented. Lamp caps according to this document ensure that light sources from different lamp manufacturers can be used in a luminaire with the appropriate holder system.
