DIN EN 60061-2:2024-09

The standard sheets in Part 2 of this series of standards specify requirements for lamp holders that are important for the interchangeability of a lamp with a specific cap in the corresponding lamp holder. This document contains the 59th amendment to IEC 60061-2, as well as the correction to Amendment A47. The following data sheets or systems are affected: - 7005-188A-1 to GJ6.6 has been supplemented; - 7005-146-2 (page 2 of 4) to PGJY19 has been corrected. This document is only applicable to cap/holder systems described in IEC 60061. The standard differs from DIN EN 60061-2:2023-11 and DIN EN 60061-2 Corrigendum 1:2024-03 as follows: a) this standard contains the 59th amendment to IEC 60061-2, which affects the following data sheets or systems: 7005-188A-1 - GJ6.6. A lamp holder or light source holder can be used for any cap that also complies with the system of this series of standards. This ensures that luminaire manufacturers and consumers worldwide have access to appropriate light sources.
