Overview
The standard sheets of Part 3 of this series of standards describe the gauges required for testing the system characteristics of lamp caps and holders in accordance with Parts 1 and 2 of this series of standards. This document contains the 60th amendment to IEC 60061-3 and corresponds to the implementation as EN 60061-3. The standard differs from DIN EN 60061-3:2024-09 as follows: a) this document contains the 60th amendment to IEC 60061-3 and applies to data sheets: 7006-188-1, 7007-188A-1 through -188N-1 for gauges for the GJ6.6 holder system. Gauges in accordance with this part of the IEC 60061 series of standards are used to verify cap/holder systems in accordance with IEC 60061. If the tested cap/holder systems pass the tests using these gauges, then it is ensured that light sources and luminaires using the same system can be safely mated and operated.
