Overview

This part of IEC 60068 contains guidance for testing equipment and components under combined climatic and dynamic conditions. By using combined testing it can be established to what extent the equipment and components are influenced by combined dynamic and climatic conditions. By using this, electric, mechanical and other physical weaknesses are detected. The responsible Committee is K 131 "Umgebungsbedingungen, Klassifizierung und Prüfungen" ("Environmental conditions, classification and tests") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60068-2-50:2000-08 , DIN EN 60068-2-51:2000-08 , DIN IEC 60068-2-53:1986-10 .
