Corrigendum 1 implements the CENELEC Corrigendum of 2017-02, which specifies that EN 60153-1:2016 replaces the harmonization document HD 123.1 S1:1977. This standard applies to straight hollow metallic tubing for use as waveguides in electronic equipment. It covers the basic requirements for the test methods, the electrical and mechanical properties and the necessary details to ensure compatibility and, where necessary, interchangeability. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
