Overview
This part of IEC 60317 specifies requirements for enameled round copper wire, class 200, with a double coating. The base coating is a coating based on polyester or polyesterimide resin which may be modified provided it retains its chemical identity and meets all specified wire requirements. The top coating is a coating on the basis of polyamide-imide resin. The responsible Committee is K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
