This part of IEC 60317 specifies requirements for enamelled rectangular copper wire, class 105, with a sole coating based on polyvinyl acetal resin, which may be modified provided it retains its chemical identity and meets all specified wire requirements. The responsible Committee is K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60317-17 Berichtigung 1:2006-12 , DIN EN 60317-17:2005-10 .
