Overview
The responsible Committee is K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE. This part of the International Standard deals with the requirements of enamelled round copper winding wire of class 200. The basic insulation is based on polyester-amide-imide resin which maybe modified providing it retains the chemical characteristics of the original resin and meets the requirements of this specification. E DIN EN 60317-42/A1:2009-06 constitutes the previous draft standard.
