This standard contains the German versions of EN 60317-53:2013 published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), specifies requirements for aromatic polyamide (aramid) tape wrapped rectangular copper wire, temperature index 220, and supersedes the 2000 edition which has been technically revised. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
