Overview
This part of the DIN EN 60317 standard series specifies the requirements of polyester glass fibre wound, impregnated or not impregnated, bare or enamelled rectangular copper winding wire, temperature index 155. If an impregnation is used, for example, impregnating varnishes on the basis of polyester or polyesterimide resin can be used. The standard shall be applied together with the next issue of DIN EN 60317-0-8 "Specifications for particular types of winding wires - Part 0-8: General requirements - Polyester glass fibre wound, resin or varnish impregnated or not impregnated, bare or enamelled rectangular copper wire". The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
